I wrote about these guys a while ago on KCRW’s music blog and love how these guys somehow generated a buzz doing straight up jazz tracks with the dabble in soul and straight 4×4 drum patterns. I also dig how they cover tracks from Gangstarr, Slum Village and even collaborate with members of Odd Future. They mix the yesterday with tomorrow effortlessly and still have fun while doing it.
