As a die hard movie buff I can co/sign on this awesome collection shots of Kubrick’s ability to wide shits as means of effect to make you, the audience member not only feel involved but give you a sense of perspective of openness and pulls you in. That might be one of the artsy fartsy-ist lines ever but it holds so true! Symmetry and vanishing points seem to be Kubrick’s strength when stressing an emotion.
