I first heard “This Charming Mixtape” and wondered “Who is this rapping over these dance beats?”. I loved it. Then I get a call from TL’s management saying “We are in Venice, where you at”. Just like that, TL and I began talking about about his direction and inspiration as an artist. I am embarrassed to watch this video at times knowing I mispronounced his name and still fresh in my understanding of this artist. 2 years later he collaborates with Stussy, tours the world and dines with Jay Z and hangs with Kanye. This video documents the dreams of an artist who dreamt bit in 2010 and enjoying the fruits of his labor in 2012. Enjoy!
