I had no idea that visual artist, stage designer and puppeteer Wayne White played and shaped a vital part of my life and understanding through art. Saturday morning w/ my grandfather always consisted of 4 things, a trip to the donut shop, Pee Wee’s Playhouse followed by Soul Train then WWF Wrestling. Dont ask me to connect all the elements cause I cant. But Pee Wee was a big part of of my imagination. I stumbled across this trailer for this documentary on White (and plan to catch the 7 pm showing later today) and instantly gravitated towards his philosophy on art.
