I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff when he was in LA. I study this dude
daily. I remember getting hipped to Jeff via his magazine Reed Space which I picked up
in Paris at Colette. I was blown away by the print and style of the mag which showcased every day
folks on the hustle and grind of art, music and culture. I love this piece on Jeff.

and posting onto my blog, I decided to create a George Michael hair cloud at 4 am. Why? Im not sure. And for the record

LA VS WAR | RECAP
I love how LA can come together in the name of art, music and social awareness. Before heading to this event
I made a stop at the gym and sat in the sauna thinking about how we once lived in different world prior to the morning of
9/11. That one day has affected us all on so many different levels from policy, art, political perspective, etc.
This event was needed for me personally. Its nice to see young people, artists and thinkers come together for LAVSWAR.
I had a blast doing a Soundclash with Blackspade on the MPC 2000 XL. We went back and fourth trading cuts
w/ blends, samples, loops and pieces. It was also great to see so many friends come through including some wonderful
artists, dj’s and photographers. I hope to see more involvement with the community. LAVSWAR
was a great way to wrap up an incredible weekend.
