He’s been labeled a visionary, masterful director, writer, photographer, pervert, artist etc etc. I have always respect this man. Sometimes I take pictures around the city and catch shots Im not sure I should share out of fear of criticism or being labeled insensitive. But looking at his photo’s has only pushed me to share those intimate shots because of Larry’s perspective that this is reality. This is what’s really going on. To hide it is to deny it. His photo book Tulsa is a must see documenting drug use, junkies and dealers. I once bumped into him at the Citibank in Santa Monica and tried to play it cool. This popped up online and I wanted to share it. Wonderfully shot too!

Last night was a reminder for me to rock shorts at The Goods. I got home full of sweat but it felt good! Big ups to all the folks from the KCRW events department for getting down with us after hosting an intimate night w/ Quadron. I got to catch the first set then had to fly over to soundcheck and all systems were set. Also big love to Dj Daz in the building. Peep the pics and hope to see you next Friday night as we proceed! VACAY PHOTO RECAP | HONOLULU

Lots of fun in the sun at Ko Olina Lagoon, Waimea Bay, Lanakai followed by an uphill hike at Manoa with an amazing view of a waterfall. Crazy mud walk with a nice wipe down with natural water. Snorkeling at Hanauma Bay was lots of fun under a nice sky. Also a nice consumption of shaved ice across the various coasts in Hawaii. Also cool to bump into Dj Reflex who I found is one of the most knowledgable dudes on this island! Great tour guide! Also cool to bump into G.O.O.D recording artist Big Sean chillin on the beach. Real cool humble dude. That’s about it! Excited to return back to LA just in time for LATIDO at Cana Rum Bar!

THE JACKSONS “JUMP FOR JOY”

I watched an 11 minute piece on the Philly Sound w/ Gamble and Huff. There was a clip of this in the piece where the Jacksons where in session with the production team. This is one of those tracks that I would skim through during Sunday cleaning but when I saw this video and the happiness MJ had well I began to realize how magical this song was, especially on the verses. Hope you dig!
