I first caught glimpse of Reggie Watts as part of Maktub. I opened for these guys way back in the early 00’s. Check out his brilliant ability to remix and recreate our various ways of communication. Reggie tackles comedy but incorporates music and beatboxing to create a “what am I watching cause I love it” kind of sensation. Earlier this year I got to sit down with Reggie and talk about the 5 songs that have inspired him over the years as part of KCRW’s Guest Dj Project.
