I love all things that surround us. Buildings, tree’s, random street art, or maybe even the way the sun might glare off a window or building. But who creates these structures? Who decides which way to face a window which might reflect the magic hour sunset? I have built an appreciation for buildings with soul and wall’s with meaning. Michael Maltzan is one of those architects who creates and designs complexes with a purpose. Not only is he responsible for luxurious homes, museums and educational institutions but he is also responsible designing beautiful social housing in DTLA. Talking to Michael I could sense his heart and good intentions for the community and anything he is a part of. And this brother knows his music! Take a listen. I had a great time doing this!
