Kate Tempest – People’s Faces
This album has been the soundtrack for optimism. It’s also giving me hope in the future. The pain + optimism in her voice is comforting.
Jhene Aiko – Born Tired
Jhene delivers on her latest album and this one just seems fitting during the past few days with all the rain in Venice. I listened to this on repeat on the way to KCRW during a rainy Saturday and put me in such a great place spiritually.
Thundercat – Fair Chance (Feat. Ty Dolla Sign + Lil B)
I appreciate Cat + Ty continue to pay homage to Mac. Circles is still one of my (if not the best) album of the year. Ty’s voice is growing too, maturing and nurturing.
