Back from SF and Outside Lands and into master control with a new set of gems. Had to kick things off with Khurangbin who totally rocked OSL. Looking forward to hearing more newness from this trio. Newness from ABJO, Jordan Rakei, Hans Zimmer (Dunkirk OST) and Session Victim. Make sure to check out Job Bap’s new jack swing single delivered in 9/8. I always wanted to reach out to him and pick this kid’s head in terms of inspiration and especially his ear. We talk about his success in monetizing his work and what it’s like to create something that rests in his mind and making it come to life.
