Davis Fetter joins me this week for a chat on my podcast. We discuss his obsession with collecting 45’s and conveying his love for music. I first came across his music while opening for him at my Saturday night residency at Sayers and was instantly drawn to his live show. His appreciation for music is evident. Hope you enjoy! I got to the venue a little early so I decided to snap some shots around the area. Im a sucker for telephone cables and hoops a little after the sun sets. I got to the Bootleg, warmed up the room. Davis Fetter took to the stage and worked his magic! He worked out a short but sweet set before passing things over to Marion Hodges and Brian Cunningham rocked things on the turntables. From Morrissey to Northern Soul these two worked up the energy prior to Myron and E . Make sure to check out Myron and E who are featured on my new Stonesthrow mix! It’s a free download! In the mean time, enjoy the pics!
** Shout outs to Katie @ Bootleg/Fold // Jodi @ Stones Throw // Aysa @Fusicology **
Last time I saw these dudes at during their Morning Becomes Eclectic session. They had the entire station shaking and two stepping as they played some of new tunes fresh off their new Stonesthrow release. Im excited to play at this amazing venue as well. I played w/ Davis Fetter a few times at Sayers and always lock his sound. Marion Hodges and I rock the turntables through out the night so make sure to swing by and say hello!
