Last night The Skirball Cultural Center and Gary Baseman did something magical. They turned the Center into a magical surreal hub complete with Baseman’s characters and doodles that came to life. Harriet and Hunter Hunted brought the tunes and I got to play some records through out the night in addition to viewing all the incredible art.   Earlier in the day Baseman and I chatted about the schedule and it was really amazing to hear his passion while describing the festivities. I really have to  say I have never seen artist make such useful usage of space like Team Baseman!  Big thanks to The Skirball for having me!
