Toronto’s Maylee Todd returns to the podcast for Episode # 80 co-hosted by Novena Carmel. I should note that prior to hitting record, we stuffed our faces w/ pal Sophia Chang at The Line Hotel inside Pot. (Shout out Roy Choi, Jess + Natasha!). On the podcast we discuss woman’s personal issues, Mushrooms in Joshua Tree, SXSW, the influence of Bjork, porno theaters in the 6 and other madness. Lots of nonsense but full of laughs.
Brooklyn’s very own joins me for a very candid talk regarding where to eat in their local neighborhood, tour life and the joy of sleeping on different beds in different cities. Von Pea and Donwill break it all down as they prep for their current tour which kicked off with a farewell celebration at The Line Hotel during one of my dj nights. This was after we killed the Galbi, Kush Salad, Spicy Pork and fish. S/O to the entire staff at Line, Pot and all the friends that came out and chopped it up with us!

I try to refrain from food reviews and restaurant info but sometimes the food is so good I just have to share. Last night me and fellow food lover @Taystries headed out to K Town to the Line Hotel to enjoy a Friends and Family night over at the yet to be opened Commissary on the second floor. It was bomb! Food, service, vibe could not have been more perfect! The burger, the Club, fries, carrots were amaze balls! When they open make sure to swing by and grub. But in the mean time, you can still swing by to POT on the first floor and hear some cool beats on a Wednesday night with yours truly!
Yes! It’s happening! New residency at The Line Hotel’s Pot Bar Lobby in Koreatown! The team at The Line and Pot are top notch friendly folks serving some of the most delish meals in the history of food! Dj Roarkyd and I will be playing beats, throw backs, and soul friendly cuts from 9-2 am every Wednesday night! Come through and say hi! Grab a meal, some tea or hit the bar! Hope to see you there.
