First thing’s first. As of September 30th, 2018 you can catch me on weekends from 3-6pm on KCRW. For 10 years straight I’ve somehow mustered the energy after countless dj gigs, travels, hosting shows on FuseTv and a weekly Vegas residency. At times it was brutal but often it was a service of love. It was my time play what I wanted. I’m looking forward to holding down Saturday and Sunday with that same drive in sharing new found gems from artists who continue pushing boundaries. I hope you might join me!

I often thought about what I might do with this blog. I’ll continue posting both shows here for you to visit. It’s our creative hub! Okay, music! New Brandon Coleman getting remixed by Fly Lo, Nao, Auntie Flo and Yaeji! Also worked into the mix is BROCKHAMPTON, 6LACK and more. Enjoy!

There is no real way to describe this man’s music other than to insert the words “genuine, authentic and talent” into the fold. Maybe even genius! I got hip to a Mocky cut and then my pal Nick Rosen connected me with him and the rest is history. While prepping for this podcast I downloaded a bunch of older tracks of his and was just amazed at the various directions this man can go. He has a new “Mocktape” set to drop on the 17th and I encourage you to grab it when it drops. It should be noted, today’s guest co-host is Nick Rosen who is also my bandmate in our side project entitled Los Girls.
