The past few week’s have been a cooler coaster. Getting re tweeted and grammes by Rosario Dawson was kind of cool but attending Manifest Justice and hearing Trayvon Martin’s mother speak was tough. Also tough was the vigil for Brendon Glenn who was shot and killed by LAPD. Following all this was our KCRW Pledge drive and hanging out with mother was kind of cool. Hope you dig! Big love to AG over at Nike for the best gift ever! She has been part of Kinect Training X Box project and so glad to see this released. It allows you to train for your movement from home. Looking forward to setting up this bad boy up and getting my sweat on! More info here! It’s going to be a fun Spring and Summer!
Nike has been killing it with the selections of colors/infrareds. The Jordans post 200’s have always been a hit a miss with the exception of a few. But these are nice. Excellent color pop! You are looking at $200 a pop for these which drop in October. I’ll be on the hunt!
I have never been a fan of a solid color shoe in the history of my admiration of sneaker releases. Ever! If it’s all white then throw in some red. It’s all black throw in some red and white. I need some kind of color scheme going on on my feet. Why? I can’t explain. At least make the swoosh stand out. When I stepped into to the shop and saw these though! Whoooooah! The red trim did it for me! Minor things such as this can really go a long way for me and make me want to instantly cop them. These though fit perfect like an Air Max but I dig how its a mid so its not quite a high top but you still have some ankle support complete with the Velcro strap! And since NYE is coming around and Im playing this all Black and White Ball at the Viceroy, these sneakers must grace my feet for comfort! And if you want to swing by to the NYE party all info here! I love the past Nike woven releases! I slept on the rainbow ones which I did not like upon first glance but then I realized it just looked like a low resoultion jpeg on your feet (which is kinda cool!). But Nike is coming hard with these solid black Inneva Woven kicks! The Nike Inneva Woven launches at Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer on September 19 in NYC!

Nike is set to release the Air Force 1 XXX Pearl on August 31st at select Foot Locker stores. Not to crazy about the design. I use to collect Air Force 1’s and as I seem to get older I just feel that these shoes seem like the cadillac’s of the shoes sitting on raft that just floats across the river. I do love the gold paint splatter but thats just about it. If your a fan, go cop em!
