Whew! This session had some serious bangers. Im really impressed with this forthcoming album from LA’s Elusive. Also, newness from KNXLEDGE, Scott XYLO, Anna Wise, Kintaro (Thundercat’s younger brother) and Kaytranada returns back behind the boards for a new one from Cadence Weapon. And out of nowhere comes a new heater from the boss, Rick Ross featuring Ty Dolla $ign. Also, thanks to Bottle Tree out of Chicago for the 45′. Had to play it! Salute to B Bravo and Dayme Arocena who close out the show on the perfect tip!  Enjoy!

Grammy Nominated producer Scoop Deville swings through and breaks down his creative process and inspiration. He popped up on my radar for Snoop’s I Wanna Rock single and then enjoyed massive success with two credits on Kendrick Lamar’s debut. We talk about working with Dre and having that special ear to hear and create. We also talk about his new Scoopaloops Vol 2 series. Hope you dig! Wheeew! Right before heading into the basement for this show I came straight from a gig in DTLA and recorded two podcasts along the way then went into the studio and it was my cool down time! Dimmed the lights, turned on the turntables and broke out the new and old out of the record bag. Excited about the records from Ana Tijoux, Sango, Phife and Sam Smith! Also big thanks to LA band Moonchild for this Jazzy Jeff/James Poyser remix! Got that minutes before my show and was excited to drop it into the set.  Hope you dig this week’s show!
